Long overdue but here at last… We welcome the new Social features at FIFA LeagueSpy.

A whole range of new Social features have been integrated into the site to boost the FIFA LeagueSpy community and get players actively engaging with one another. Here’s a list of the new additions;

1. My Wall
Similar to Facebook each member now has their very own FIFA LeagueSpy Wall from which you can update your status and share your thoughts! Other Players can also comment on your Wall posts.

2. My Friends
You can now search and find friends from fellow league members and add them to your friends list.

3. Live Feed
We’ve also introduced the Live Feed page. From here you can get info on all recent status updates and comments from other users aswell as joining in on conversations from here also. A great new way to keep yourself updated.

Please Note: There are still a few glitches and bugs here and there that we’re aware of but most of the functionality seems to be ok. Most notably there are some visual issues whilst viewing some of the new feature pages from a Mobile Web Browser (i.e iPhone, Blackberry etc and others too).

Introduction

From Season 10 the all new European LeagueSpy Tournament will feature 25 Individual European Teams each Automatically Allocated to Qualifying Players at the start of Season 10.

How to Qualify

You can Qualify for this Tournament through your FIFA LeagueSpy League during Season 9. Qualification is available to the following Players.

Players will be Seeded for the Tournament based on their final League Positions. Your Seed for the Tournament will represent from which European League you will be Eligable to select a Team from. Below is the full list of Eligable Leagues and their Seeded Positions.

FIFA LeagueSpy has worked extremely hard to accurately evaluate each of the European Leagues and their respective Teams from within the FIFA10 Game to create a Seeded List of Leagues based on a calculated score for each League and the Quality of Teams who play within.

Entry to this Tournament is available with Qualification Only. You must Qualify for this Tournament to be eligible. Once you’ve Qualified you’ll be issued with a Tournament Seed which will represent from which European Leagues you select teams.

EA SPORTS unveiled today a new feature called Creation Centre that will provide football fans with the tools to customise content in FIFA 11 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 in new ways. Craft your own football player and create the team of your dreams using a web-based application at www.easportsfootball.com. Create a player by choosing his appearance, accessories and attributes and then create an original team with a distinctive crest and kits, complete with home stadium.

Fans will be able to share their created players and teams with friends and download into their console to play online, in Tournaments and in Kick-Off matches in FIFA 11. In addition, fans can choose player attributes and manage their created team’s formations and tactics right from the web. Creation Centre will launch when FIFA 11 is available in stores on 28 September in North America and 1 October in Europe and Asia.

“Having the ability to customise content in FIFA 11 to the degree where you are creating players and teams, choosing player attributes and managing team tactics effortlessly from the web opens up a world of possibilities of original content that fans will be able to create,” said David Rutter, Producer of FIFA 11 on Xbox 360 and PS3. “Creation Centre will perfectly compliment the official league and team licenses that are the hallmark of the FIFA franchise.”

Also new this year in FIFA 11 is Custom Audio, which enables fans to assign chants for every team and league in the game. Fans can set their home club’s chants to play during player introductions, halftime, and after goals – even hearing their name echo in the stands of Old Trafford or San Siro with created chants for their Virtual Pro. Plus, fans now have the ability to play music from their hard drive in game.

FIFA 11 will be available in stores for the PlayStation3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PlayStation2, Nintendo DS, PSP and mobile on 28 September in North America and 1 October in Europe and Asia. FIFA 11 on Wii will be available in stores on 1 October in Europe and Asia and 4 October in North America.
